The bass reflex tube is mounted on rear side of the cabinet and ventilates the chambers of both Alcone bass drivers. The two chambers are separated by a wooden bracing board with several cut-outs to ensure unhindered airflow.
The separating board between Alcone bass and Vifa midrange drivers, however, is airtight.
Two packs (4 mats) damping material are inserted into the upper chamber; the remaining 1 ½ packs (3 mats) are used for the two lower chambers. Depending on the required bass intensity the bass reflex tube could be damped slightly (please see the Klang+Ton description).
The crossover components should be fixed either with cable ties or hot-glued onto a wooden board. Afterwards, they should be wired up. If you wish you can also use a universal PCB, where the leads of the components are fed through openings on one side of the PCB and soldered on the other.
