Review in K+T 6/2005: "If one owns a speaker system with a lot of bass then one is certainly anxious to see how musical instrument with tons of bass are going to be reproduced. An ideal candidate is the organ on "Toccata and Fugue" by Johann Sebastian Bach, a recording that we put into our CD player first. The powerful reproduction and simultaneous attention to detail allowed us to sense the dimensions of the nave. As impressive was the kettledrum and the thundery bass coming from Strauss' "Thus Spoke Zarathrustra". The blaring fanfares of Aida's "Triumph March" convinced without any exaggerated sharpness. Just as good was the imaging of the large orchestra. Reproduction of jazz and blues was decent but not masterly. It is true that all musical information over the entire frequency range was present, but empathy and emotion was lacking when B.B. King confessed: "The Thrill Is Gone". The third Mivoice really woke up when we unleashed the good old rock. Bruce Springsteen told us with husky voice about his "hometown", accompanied by a punchy bass drum and a jingling hi-hat, as well as fine guitar strums and synthesiser. A live atmosphere evolved immediately when Fleetwood Mac's "The Dance" started playing, where Mick Fleetwood despite his age was the driving force with his drumming for Lindsey Buckingham's fantastic guitar solo on "I'm So Afraid." ...
