A small subwoofer with lots of power and realistic sound. Sub10SW

The Sub 10S' bass driver is the Alcone AC 10 SW8, manufactured to the highest specs and with a strong magnet for easy control of the moving parts of the driver.

Strong bass needs a lot of air movement. On the other side, smaller cones sound better than larger ones. Therefore, the idea to have two smaller bass drivers instead of one large one. The second subwoofer doesn't need an amplifier.

The Alcone AC 10 SW8 consists of:

  • a seamless aluminium-sandwich cone
  • a perfectly designed die cast basket
  • a pole piece hole
  • an extremely strong drive
  • gold plated push-pull terminals
    The strong drive is quite special: the extremely rigid cone produces a really tight bass even in a bass reflex cabinet. If the bass should be even tighter this driver requires a sealed cabinet positioned close to the wall or corner. Detonation DT 300

    The amplifier module is mounted on the cabinets' rear wall.

    With state-of-the-art Class D amplification, enabling extremely high output coming from a small sized enclosure.
